SUSSEX MUSICAL PRODUCTIONS -Join Us


	Thank you for your interest in becoming a member of Sussex Musical Productions! Our Shows We aim to produce two shows a year at locations in West Sussex (currently the Shoreham Center and Capitol Theatre Horsham). Rehearsals take place on Tuesdays and Wednesday at Elm Grove School, Elm Grove, Worthing 7.30 - 10.00pm. In the final weeks before each show attendance may be required at Sunday afternoon rehearsals, usually at East Preston 2-6pm. Membership Membership of the Society is only open to age 16+, however, depending upon the show, we sometimes have children joining us a "guest" members. Auditions To join the company as an adult you will be required to undertake a short audition. The audition will consist of singing, a little dancing and some dialogue. Please bring your song music with you. We do appreciate how stressful auditioning is but we've all been there and will do our best to make you feel at ease! The next adult audition will be on Wednesday 20th July in preparation for our production of Oliver! Our Next Audition Our next show, "Oliver", will be performed from Wednesday 30th November to Saturday 3rd December 2011 at the Shoreham Centre, Shoreham by Sea. After this we shall be performing "The Sound of Music" in July 2012 iat the Capitol Theatre in Horsham. The first rehearsal for Oliver will take place on Wednesday 20th July at Elm Grove School in Elm Grove, West Worthing. Adult new members auditions will be held on that day. Current Costs (Following a successful Company Audition!!!) Membership is £20 per annum (£10 16-18 years), payable at January AGM or on joining for second annual show. Show fees are £50 per show (£25 16-18 years), payable in four equal instalments (Jan, Feb, Mar Apr for May show and Jul, Aug, Sep, Oct) for November show.
